I have been lurking here for a week or so in preparation for buying a '92 Type-III E350 that I just picked up today. It was decom'd by a rural county fire district a few years ago and has sat since then. OD shows 57k with 3k hours with a LifeLine built box. Knowing the community it came from I believe these could be original.
I love how cleanly this box is wired and now much room is in the control cabinet.
And I already got myself in trouble with this guy and some curious fingers in a Costco parking lot this morning.
First order of business is to get to know this thing inside and out. It will need tires soon, some lighting and living mods next. This will be a light DD as well as a festival/camping/party rig. I don't have any immediate plans to lift or add a UJOR, but time will tell.

@ARVTeam, thanks for the title edit. Makes perfect sense.
I haven't had a chance to take pics inside yet today, but I will post those shortly. I don't have major mods planned yet. I am taking some time to consider several options to make best use of the layout.
I forgot to mention the price tag. I picked it up for a cool $2k.

I'd have to Agree... twice what I paid for mine, but I've got 5x the hours, and 3 X the miles

Finally had a chance today to grab some internal pics. It is a pretty standard box inside, and a little dirty after sitting for so long.
-Full Walk-through
-78" bench
-Jump seat
-Lot's O Storage
Still planing on basing internal mods; convertible bench/bed, basic cooking/refrigeration, LED lighting. Also planing a swing out TV near the back for tailgating.
Exterior plans are for a roof rack/deck, awning to street side, maybe a screen room/porch of the back. We are still debating whether or not to plumb a sink inside with external shower. Like most of these builds it will be a work in progress as time/money/need allows.

Looks like a good solid start. A clean slate to fix up to your needs will be great to see
