HarborFreight has a 4-cam IR +recorder set for under $200 this weekend. Dunno if it'd last very long as mobile vehicle; better to get one designed for earthquakes.
If they want in sure I realize that, but I am taking several steps to cover every possibility as much is possible.
Alarm System - I buy good alarms with text notifications and GPS. Along with remote start which I love. I dont settle for cheap $100 units, I want it there when I get back!
Outside Cameras - 4 cameras outside to a DVR to record to DVR and the Cloud in case DVR was taken so I would see who approached
Interior Cameras - I am having interior cameras as well and all cameras inside and out are motion censored that send me a text and or email when it senses movement

So if I am in a store or movie etc I will know and can come introduce myself lol
Safe - I am also installing a permanent mounted locking safe for valuables big enough for handguns etc
Locking Cables - I will have many cables for locking valuables inside and outside both.
GPS tracking - Will have one mounted on Ambo, as well as use small individual GPS units hidden in my camera bag etc to track anything possibly stolen
I realize this is a lot of steps and as my ex called me paranoid. But I rarely have things stolen, and since the ambo will have everything I own in it I feel justified in my paranoia LOL. But more than most people do I know.
The good part is I will be inside the vast majority of the time working on the laptop for work. And when I am not it will be within site through a restaurant window etc
