I stumbled across your facebook page a while back when I wanted to start looking for a solid RV.
I was looking for something like a class B, but noticed most are sold for 100g+ which is not something I want to spend on flimsy material.
And, I don't know exactly when this happened, but the idea of turning an ambulance into an RV popped up, and it tickled me.
I work in healthcare and deemed it would be the coolest thing.
Plus, all the shelving, the electrical, and aircon stuffs would already be complete, and it is STURDY.
I'm not good at starting projects, but am very good at finishing them. So, this was the way to go for me. Half the work is already done.
I would love to buy an already converted (gas only) ambulance with solar, heated shower (absolutely necessary), and water tanks in place. The rest I can work with.
I've had to keep this on the down low as I'm not supported in this endeavor. Being told things like:
"Are you sure you want to waste your money like this?"
"Why do you want to leave?"
"You have a really good career."
"Just get married and have babies so you can stop talking crazy."
"Just have babies. You'll forget all this. You don't even need a man to have them anymore."
"Don't you want something else? Why an ambulance?"
"What if the city won't let you park it outside?"
And, the list goes on.
That's fear talking. And, I don't listen to fear.
And, let me tell you, when I saw you uplift the person who felt like she made a mistake in purchasing an ambulance, I was like, "I'm in the right place."
Your willingness to support her filled me with joy. I honestly was not expecting all the positive comments (I went back and read every single comment).
So, I'm here. I'm hoping. I'm looking. I'm ready for adventure. I'm saving. I'm brainstorming. I'm seeking and knocking.
Someone will open the door.
I know it.
