Re: Bed cushion foam

Ended up buying a 4 inch memory foam topper off amazon. Zinus brand. Cut it with a electric turkey slicer. Worked well. Multiple 1 inch to 2 inch deep cuts worked best for a smoother finished. I don’t sew , so I stapled material to a thin plywood backing .

Air conditioning options? Which roof top AC?

Well it looks like I cannot avoid going with a rooftop air conditioning unit. I tried the portable LG 8,000 BTU and then exchanged it out for the LG 10,000 BTUunit and both were inadequate to cool off the ambulance here in the south where I live. In the summer it can feel like 105 with high humidity...

Re: 97 Crestline's Slow camper build

What brand LED did you use for 2.5 watt and 4 watt? The 2 watt I have is definitely less light than the haligens.

Re: Shore power to existing wiring inverter

Just one 20 amp plug in on side for shore power. And just two 20 amp breakers. No 30 amp. I will just hook up a back up solar power charging system to keep the batteries topped off. I just have to figure out how I can wire it up to charge all the batteries from one solar panel array. Atleast 100 wat...

Re: Shore power to existing wiring inverter

I was thinking a solar panel backup charging system. I also have 2000 watt gas generator .

I see a few plugs by the inverter. Thinking about plugging the ones that are for 120vac ( the ones plugged into the inverter's 120 vac outlet )directly into shore power to see if the lights are in this group.

Any particular foam recommended? Thinking about memory foam but it can be pricey.

Re: Bed cushion foam

No less than 3 inches. My bed when folded up sticks up pretty high. With a tall cushion my head will hit the cabinet overhead.

Let me know what you think of the LEDs. I have the dimmable 2 watt version . I wish they were a little brighter. No heat though.

Re: Shore power to existing wiring inverter

Does anyone know how to run the interior box lights off shore power? That is my missing piece to the puzzle. Got the outlets to work. Would love for them to work as well. Ran the battery on the engine again playing with different loads. I thought plugging into shore power would charge all the batter...

Re: Shore power to existing wiring inverter

Found out the right breaker switch turns on the 120 volt outlets when plugged into shore power. If only I could get the lights & outlets to work on shore power only. That would be great. Ran down the batteries working in it today. We will see how well the shore power charges the batteries. Not s...
