As far as the specifics on the specific invertor/charger you have, I can't help too much without seeing it, except for the "AC Output" is the wire that powers your house outlets inside the box.

I think we need to start with some basic electrical knowledge on how the ambulances are set up... The majority of everything in the ambulance runs off 12V DC power (your batteries). The only real thing that runs 120V AC power is the house outlets in the back. A shore power plug only provides 120V AC...

The one in my ambo works great. While brainstorming early in my process with beer and cigars, that exhaust fan sucked the smoke out faster than my buddy and I could produce it.

Yes, the grill lights will easily remove. I have actually thought about isolating those wires from the emergency circuit and use them for some LED flood light bars.

Switched out the light bulbs for LEDs.

Starting cutting out the cabinets to make room for the fridge and stove/oven.

Removed all the "ambulance" and painted the lenses white to make it street legal...

2000 Freightliner FL-60 with an AEV Traumahawk Box conversion

Picked up my ambo and getting ready to start the build. It will be a slow build, but I will update as best I can.

Name is Scott. Live in eastern NC. Just purchased a 2000 Freightliner FL60 with Trauma Hawk box. I will try to capture pics and progress to post as I start the conversion.

I read almost every post on here and got some great ideas from y'all.
