If you haven't already installed an L.P. detector please do. It could save your life.

Reducing weight in the Sandbulance.

I am trying to decide if I want to gut the ambo and rebuild the cabinets with lighter materials. Does anyone have a guess as to how much all the MDF cabinets might weigh. As she sits she weighs in at 9720 lbs. Is it worth it to remove everything and start from scratch? I really like the layout and t...

Re: Mike's 1997 GMC 3500 Ambulance

You could put a foam seal on the door and a thumb latch in the finger hole and that would probably suffice, but i see your point. In my job i can't legally recommend anything that isn't code so I tend to tell people how it should be and let them make their own decisions. But I will always err on the...

Re: FINALLY!

I agree with 97 Crestline. We have had nothing but positive reaction to our ambo. We have Run into a few people that actually worked in it when it was in service. We bought it from the town next to ours. Most can't believe it's still on the road. It rotated thru three different departments in the sa...

Thanks guys. I took ideas from the campers I work on every day. The dinette cushions are from a class c camper. Customer didnt like the color so he ordered new ones and gave me these. That's how I got most of the stuff I put in it.
