Re: new (to me) Vanner charger/inverter

The main thing about the Vanner is it’s ability to switch out to AC on shore power. It’s QuasiSine Wave (thus “modified“), and incompatible with some sensitive electronics like computers and outputs lower amperage than pure sine wave . If going from start, I’d put a 2000 Pure Sine Wave in..... I pla...

Re: Ideas for Repurposing Suction Pump?

We all have appliances left over from decommissioning, and, while the vacuum is tempting, I think using its motor is probably more effective repurposing. It’s too low-power for a wet vac, but yeah, it could be an evacuation suction pump without contaminating it.

Re: Flagstaff - E350 Crestline New Era - Camper / Mobile Office

I’ve heard AndroidAuto is the way for android tablets and raspberry pi. Can address cameras as well as nav. Check Everlanders on YT. I’m looking to integrate Apple CarPlay into my radio, to BT my Apple products and navigation. So I’ll have to replace the 1DIN radio head in the GM dash. Evidently mos...

Re: New batts: Cross-wired or Parasitic drain?

@patoz, @RIrenze, @Coachgeo Thanks for your review and help; Pls advise if I’m specific enough. Working in the module on shore power , I let the cab buzzer go off for about 30 mins —dunno why— (tapping my foot to imagined beats?), after which it stopped with a distant click (sounded from the rightof...

Re: New batts: Cross-wired or Parasitic drain?

In looking for said 125A fuse, the sole appliance is on the electrical panel labeled R2. I’m posting this photo to ask if it looks like a fuse, because it looks more like a relay to me. Have yet to see any inline. Will study the Vanner manual. The buzzer that is repeatedly sounding is in the console...

Sorry to be oblique; I’ll look “within 18 inches” and get back with a better-formed request.
Thanks for your efforts!

Lock cylinders

Most Ambu’s will have all exterior boxes “keyed same”, so one key. But are you aware that that is (probably) a CH505 key? That’s the key that every toolbox on every truckbox and utility door has as the common key.... ahem.... Time to make mine unique, cuz all my stuff’s in there! I think the cylinde...

Re: Loose door... does not close tight

Check your seals all the way around. If they’re folded over on the hinge side, it’ll never close. Try to determine if it’s been over-opened —that is, that the hinge has been over-flexed. But you said you have play in the latch...... take the liner off and examine the catches. If their fixation brack...
