Re: Air Conditioning Options

I'd be curious to see how these units work out. For our climate A/C is rarely needed, however, it'd be helpful to have an efficient unit to keep inside temperatures from soaring on the few hot days we do see... but it's not often enough to warrant expensive units. 8000 btu seems excessive for 100 sq...

Re: Barehanded's '03 Ford E350 Wheeled Coach (Type III) Conversion

Sounds like it's coming along well. Looking forward to seeing pics of the interior. Good call on adding a thermal break between the aluminum and interior panels. When we were up near Tofino in a nasty storm, we had water dripping of the ceiling where it had condensed on the inside of the panels at e...

215 amp Ambulance Alternator

Came across this on ebay... Retail $859 CAD - no stock in North America when I was last looking for one. They're asking $90 obo. I'd buy it If I hadn't bought a NOS one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALTERNATOR-DIESEL-215-AMP-FITS-95-03-FORD-E350-VAN-333323-/122530846794?hash=item1c8768584a:g:uOMAAOSw-K9Z...

Re: 97 Crestline's Slow camper build

They should be higher than the old ones... I'm hoping if they do settle, that the rears also settle a bit more. As I finish the rear, it'll likely sink a tad.

Thanks. I'm really happy with it. Just wish the interior was also done.

Re: 97 Crestline's Slow camper build

Since I had new rear Springs installed... (4k lbs per pack) it's been sitting tail high. Especially with the extra 1" lift block on the drivers side to level out the lean from the extra weight. It started at about 5.5" rise over the 12' run of the box. They've been settling down since last...
