Empty Glass & chair w/a beer at the table for Pat Oz

We lost a good one too soon. Pat Ozmont passed away out of the blue to us. He was a big help to many in the Ambo world Here, Expedition Portal and various other Ambo related places.
So on your next Ambo outing..... leave an empty chair, glass and a full beer for Pat.

Re: Roof Rack options: buy, build, or modify?

have you searched/read the reality of solar panels needed to power the items you describe? 300watt; when considering extra needed panels to adjust for losses, does not sound near enough. If you have searched it and it appears to be all you need. I would consider mounting them in conventional ways so...

Re: Roof Rack options: buy, build, or modify?

You might need the whole roof for solar and if you live in it... IMHO that is what you will need; plus some. Unless you drive everyday long enough ...

Re: Need Advice on Hammock Setup - Mounting Eye Bolts

you would need to find the square tubes (rafters you might say) that cross from left to right in ceiling, or one of the tubes welded to these that runs between them in a few places. IMHO you should be able to drill into (not thru) one tube (they should be 2" square tube) and put a Nutsert in. S...

Re: Winch/Winches

If your in fairly good health.... another option is a receiver hitch. Fairly good health required to carry winch from one end of truck to the other. Ton of weight can be saved though if you go to synthetic rope.
